v&h quiet baffles and stage 4 build
I always loved loud bikes in fact i would laugh at friends who didn't enjoy loud pipes but wow lately after 10 years i can't take it seems to just make my ears ring...all I'm really after if to take the edge off a bit and still have sound.. I ordered a set of the v&h quiet baffles I guess I have what they call a stage 4 build ?? 95 inch with andrews 21 cams and big Boyz ported heads my only question here to u guys is will these baffles help or hurt my horsepower all I really care about is where I ride my 2000 to 3500rpms range as that's where I'm most at

At most you might loose 1HP and gain that back with 1ft/lb of TQ.
I can tell you from putting the quiet baffles in my pipes that they're still damn'd loud but it sounds a little better, deeper and doesnt have a sharp metallic note that is what usually hurts the ears. But I've noticed recently the packing of my quiet baffles has started to burn out and its getting a little tinny sounding again. But they're still very mild and tolerable to just cruise around with for any length of time. ( I ride with a full face)
I'm 21 years old and I'll tell you I hate obnoxiously loud pipes, and have noticed a decline in hearing. Mostly from work, shooting, hunting, and motorcycles. My short shots with the quiet baffles are still a bit loud for me, plus I dont want quite as much attention from the law man.

Well I spent a lot of time to build power I don't want to lose any but if there's a increase in low end I'll take that... not to worried about upper rpms..I like loud pipes I just want to take the edge off when the bike was stock it was good but now with 95inch and head work and andrews 21 cams the bike got way louder.. after I did the cams the volume really went up

The moter work really made the bike loud guys I ride with said it rings there ears from 3 bikes behind me and there running the same pipes..I noticed when I did the cams and started the bike for the first time how crazy loud it was I mean u can here it for mile...just want to take a bit of the edge off keep these pain in the *** cops off my radar and save the ringing in my ears..I mean I have ear plugs in and it's still loud lol...I think these baffles will be all I need...if it takes the high pitch sounds I'm good

I used the Thunder Monster inserts in my Cycle Shack 2" 2-2 pipes on my 111hp/117ft lb 103 build. As was described earlier, they mellowed out the sharper raspy tones that are most irritating. A neighbor remarked it was loud, but a nice loud.

Unless you ride on a dyno or only the drag strip, it is highly doubtful you would even notice the change in hp/tq numbers.
