Does anybody know of any good independent shops near Mooresville NC? I'm looking to have some 10" apes put on my sons 883 Iron and the local dealer wants $1000 for labor a material, seems pretty high to me.

 

Check Lee's Performance Center near Huntersville or Ben's V-Twins in Matthews. Both good and cheaper than the dealership. I would get a quote from both first.

Lee's basically a sports bike specialist but changing the handlebars is not a very complex mechanical procedure anyways.

 

I bet you could find some local guys that would help you out for free.
