Default I got shamed into washing my bike

I got shamed into washing my bike today. A guy that I have known for
years ask if he could lease my gas tank to plant a garden in, yeah it had
that much dirt and dust on it. so I spent the better part of this afternoon,
and evening washing, and scrubbing bug guts off and drying. Tomorrow
will consist of waxing and chrome polishing after church and, if the ol don't
catch me it (may) also include a couple of twenty four oz Miller Lite beers,
but for sure a lot of semi sweet ice tea.

That's funny!

A guy I ride with has wiped down the windshield on my Heritage more times than I can remember. I guess it's good that at least one part of my bike is clean.

I rode an hour in the rain the other day, but it is still dirty. My lane is gravel and sand with a few chuck holes filled with water so I don't clean her to often. I try to wash it at least once a year whether it needs it or not.

My response would have been
"Do you have any idea how much work it took to get them into that shape????"

Then again I have no shame!!!!!
