Default 9 Fastest Cruisers 2014

It's a year old but I couldn't find a 2015 version.

I have been exploring the idea of getting another V-Rod muscle. I do miss my '09. I came across this article. It's a year old but was impressed that 2 Harley Davidsons were listed and how friggin fast some heavy bikes can be 0-60mph.

I see the VMax is still king.
I remember when it came out back when I was in high school, in the 80's, I recall walking back from the mailbox reading that months Cycle World magazine and going right to that road test back then.

Number 4 on the list says Valkryie -- but it was the Honda F6B (the bagger) that was tested at 3.3 seconds for 0-60.

http://www.cycleworld.com/2013/04/22...mparison-test/

Same article that tested the CVO at 3.7 seconds.

Haven't seen the 0-60 for the Valk yet. At 92 lbs lighter than the F6B, it would be even quicker.

I had an early '86 production. The best year ever made. Amazing bike!!!

If I were ever to buy a metric cruiser, I'd go back to the Max.

I have #9 The Vulcan 2000. sitting in my shop along side my other bikes. Although it only came in at #9 when you fire it up and throw a leg over you instantly know that you've got some serious hp under you. Of all the bikes that I have owned through the years It has to be the best all around bike I have had. Ride, Hp, and dependibility are all up there.

I have only ever seen one Triumph Rocket. That thing is a beast.

"With 148 horsepower and 163 pound-feet of torque to power a wet weight of 809 pounds, it is easy to see why this Triumph bike is called the Rocket."

That's stock. LOL

That victory doesn't look any more long distance than a Dyna.

I find it very interesting that the CVO Road glide is in that group!

That was a shocker.

I traded in a Vrod on that very model and the RG feels much slower. Then again I am no professional rider and have never thought of my geezer glide as fast.

I haven't launched it all out from a dead stop. I bought it for long distance riding not drag racing figuring it's weight would hold it back even with the 110. I'll have to give it a try soon.

Very interesting list. I used to have a 1984 Honda V65 Magna that was supposed to do 0-60 in 3.9 seconds. I loved that bike. I've ridden the VMax a few times and I don't care for that one much. The Ducati Diavel, I am very interested in. That may become bike #2.
