Full face, and carrying spare shields.

Full face, and carrying spare shields.
Maybe I'm just getting old, who knows, but for whatever reason I seem to be grabbing my full face DOT SNELL helmet, more and more. Since I also work in front of a computer every day, my eyesight pretty much requires me to ride with prescription glasses. The simple fact is, I want a tinted faceshield during the day, and a clear shield at night. The problem is there's nothing worse than riding at nighttime with a scratched up faceshield. So what are you guys who carry spare faceshields to swap when the sun goes down, doing to keep them from getting all scratched to hell, bouncing around in your saddlebags?

What it sounds like is you need a FF with an inner tinted shield/visor that slides down for day and up for night use. Most Modular Full Face come with this now. That way you don't have to carry two shields.
I have a Nolan N104 EVO. If you never had a modular, they are nice and have a lot of advantages.

I do have a modular helmet as well. I love it! But same problem. And I don't want to buy yet another helmet. I quite literally have 9 helmets on my helmet shelf, so I have to work with what I got. The helmet bag is an EXCELLENT idea. I wish I had thought of it the countless times I threw them Damn bags away....lol. live and learn. Maybe an old bath towel? Damn, now I really feel old.....
