Default Hello All!!!

Although I don't YET own a HD...
I stopped at a dealership today that ALMOST my dream bike...
02 Night Train, (I personally love the 03 100 year stripe)
Has only 10k, & I felt the price is VERY fair...
I was already approved at a great rate...
Just mustering up the courage to take the plunge...

Having never owning a HD.. (Coming off almost 20 years of street bikes)
I'm looking forward (and a little nervous) to the different riding style..
Anyone else make the same change & can give me some insight to what I have to look forward to???

Thanks!!!

You will LOVE the change & never go back. ESPECIALLY with a NightTrain; that is one hifalutin' sled.

I pretty much rode everything metric and they were AWESOME; however, Harley Softails are very unique. If you dig classic motorcycles with modern tech and a fit and finish that is second to none you will love the Softail. They are not for everyone so only you can decide what is best for you. Do a test ride and do as much research as you can so you will feel confident about your decision. Good luck!

This is an interesting reply...
Although I am younger(ish) at 37...
I am attracted to "old school" or more traditional vehicles..
That is why the Night Train has always been on the top of my list...
Not being into chrome as much..
The dark, sleek look has attracted me since 1st glance...
I've ALWAYS been into "low & slow" & I'm CERTAIN that this is the model for me....

Also, I'm sure I will do DAYS of research before my decision to be sure my needs & wants can easily be met....

The bike sits 99% how I want it already...
Just needs to sit a few inches lower in the rear...
And a new set of V&H Big Radius pipes...
Viola... DONE

I've had tons of metric cruisers and to be honest when I got my first Harley, I understood the pride. I always feel like i'm a dirty little bastard keeping a dirty little secret when I ride my V-star. LOL

Sounds like your wants are met

Lowering the rear and putting pipes on are the some of the easiest mods to accomplish. Needs are easily met.

Voilą! Why wait days to purchase what you like. You snooze you lose. You'll go back to find out the dealer sold it out from under you.

Night Train's a nice looking bike. Just test ride it before you buy it; make sure you're happy with it.
