Default Summer riding gloves

What do you recommend for summer riding gloves?
Buddy of mine went down this weekend, lots of road rash but was very lucky to walk away. Most road rash was on is palms and fingertips. If he would have had a good pair of gloves he would be going back to work tomorrow.

I ride with full finger deerskin gloves from Iron Braid, works good for me here in the oklahoma heat.

I wear perforated Harley ones. I think most of their leather is overpriced, but their gloves are the exception. I have 3 pair, summer, winter and mild weather gauntlets. Fit superb and wear like iron. I do take care of them too, that helps.

I have two pair of summer gloves.
Perforated for the really hot weather and local riding, and deerskin for cooler weather and freeway rides.

I haven't used "fingerless" gloves in years die to the lack of protection AND uneven tan lines.

Wells Lamont work gloves work the best and are only about 15 bucks. Easy on, easy off.

I have a full finger with mesh back and leather palm from Leather-up. Rode 4 days in 90+ weather last week and other than hands are a shade lighter they were great. Had to replace original ones since lost one but have used them for several years now.

I like the brown cowboy work gloves. Everything don't need to be black.
