Risers
This may sound like a stooopid question, but has anybody reversed their pullback risers to give more of a reach to the bars.
I was looking for different risers as the bars on the Deluxe are simply just too close for my orang-utan like physique, and then I thought why not just spin the originals around 180 degrees??
Any advice on why this will or won't work appreciated.
I would just go and try it but bike is sitting at dealers 100 miles away at the moment.
I have included an illustration of my arm length just so we're all clear on that.

Update;
Well, it's another lovely rainy summers day in the UK. It's hammering down, even the dog won't go out.
So I thought I'd tackle the risers. They do indeed fit backwards, it's not even necessary to take them off, just loosen and spin em round. All cables are ok, brake line is just long enough on full left lock.
The top bar clamp fits the correct way around.
Takes the bars forward about 3 inches and up maybe an inch.
My tool bag fits nicely in the curve of the backwards riser, and you can't really tell it's been done. Riding position is much better, for me anyway, I don't feel cramped with my arms bent in half. Should brace me against the wind blast much better.
Best thing though, zero cost.
