Default Don't want to be like everyone else!

I have heard so many people say "I don't want" Rineharts, V & H, Ect.... because they didn't want to be like everyone else. Anymore these days aren't you like everyone else if you own a Harley? If your customizing your bike, aren't most people buying there parts to customize? Its not like they made just 1 and they bought it. So almost everyone is just like everyone else when it comes to Harleys. granted there are a few people out there that are making and fabricating all there own customizations. Everyone just needs to quit caring what every one else has or does, and just do what you want. Also on another note, just cause your going to a bike show or rally doesn't mean you have to play dress up. Why you have to walk around in 100 deg. with leathers on just because your at some bike get together, when you know damn well you never wear them any other time.

PEOPLE, PLEASE JUST BE YOURSELF

Just remember, you are a unique individual, one of a kind. There is nobody exactly like you. Just like everybody else.

My old 93 is bone stock.
I wear my carhart bibbers and combat boots i had in iraq.
And a pair of gloves i bought at the local elevator.
Pulled into a gas station the other day.. hordes of twinkie riders.
They just ignored me.
I smiled and waved . And rode off into the sunset.
In other words . I don't care .

You do care or else you wouldn't have made the effort to post in the first place.

Not picking from the most obvious stuff, like Screamin' Eagle everything, is what I think they mean. I'm the same way. Some people go to Harley Davidson's website and just put Screamin' Eagle stuff on their bike. Which is perfectly fine. But others don't want to go that route.

lmbo...my work boots, jeans, and T shirt work just fine. When it cools down the leather vest and jacket come out.
Most everyone around here looks like me, or me like them. Our uniqueness kicks in when you look at our scoots, they're most black but personalized. I'm still catching hell over my 'whiskey amber' on my latest, that's the way bros are...heheh!

I love it when the new guy posts a thread that solves all the enigmas about Harley culture.
We wouldn't know how to act without this valuable input.

Wait...if we follow your advice, won't we all be the same all over again? Crap.
