So I had a 13 rg loved it perfect bike I traded it in on a 15 sg for better financing now I can't stand the wind buffering on the street glide I want to build a roadking out of it what am I looking @ as far as $ and time to convert this money pit

 

Trade it in for a RK or spend $130 to stop the "buffering".

 

OP, buy the damn $100 fork fangs and call it a day. They work, trust. But if you still have the stock shield, LRS is running a 50% off sale on their shields right now...you'll want to get a new shield (8" ultra seems to be the sweet spot for most)to go with the fangs and you'll feel like you're sitting on the sofa in your living room.

Or you could trade the SG in on a road king. The money you "lose" will still be less than you'd spend to convert the SG to a RK.

This ought to get under some peoples skin! But isn't a road king with a bat wing basically the same as a street glide.

I'm not trolling I actually bought the 12 in hd windspliter it's smoke or gay in my opinion that's when the wind stopped ripping my shades off idk about fork fans I'm 6ft4in tall riding a mustang tripper 2 piece with backrest. Just to give ya an idea what I'm working with

 

WHat is your opposition to fork fangs? The new ones don't look bad and they have no drawback and lots of benefit. Probably the best money I've spent on any mod.

 

Never thought of it as an option to deflect wind that's coming over the windspliter
