Default Heritage fender vs. Fatboy fender

I recently bought a 2000 Heritage that someone had put Fatboy rims on.At first I thought of getting rid of the rims and going to spokes. The rims kind of grew on me but I hated the look of the rims with the ugly-*** Heritage fender.I figured a Fatboy fender would work but I wasn't sure. Both being FL front ends with a 16 inch wheel why not right? But everywhere I went to look at Fatboy front fenders it said would not fit on the Heritage. To anyone thinking of making the switch but unsure I can say the Fatboy fender not only fits perfect but looks 10 times better.Nice look for a bike with the Heritage driving lights etc.

You may get more attention with this question in the Softail section. Also, are you thinking the front or rear fender?

Default question?

No,my post was to let anyone thinking of putting a fatboy fender on a heritage that it would definitely fit.I was looking on e-bay at compatible models and mine wasn't listed.I ran into this a few times but took a chance the front fender would interchange and ordered a brand new one on e-bay for 120 bucks.I put it on yesterday and it changes the look of the front end in a very positive way

It will fit with no mods. I have a fatboy fender on my heritage. You can find them fairly cheap on ebay
