my only experience with Bellville was their steel toe leather flight boots. great fit and quality. expensive but you get what you pay for. would presume their tactical boots would be the same.

as far as tactical boots, i've been wearing Magnum 6" waterproof boots and wore them out after 3 years (fabric separating from the leather and soles wearing out) . Just received a pair of Magnum 8" tactical boots (not waterproof) that i got for $52 from Heartland. like tactical boots because they are light weight. purchased the non-waterproof this time hoping that they would be a little cooler during the summer.

Sometimes I wear German-made Adidas GSG-9 tactical boots. Designed, built and named for German special operations troops somewhat like our DEVGRU and HRT guys. Medium height, very light and comfortable. Mine are original GSG-9's, as contrasted with the current GSG-9.2 boot in release now. Mine have smaller lugged soles that I like better (not like climbing boots).

I wear Magnum tactical boots. I believe they are the 8" high ones, non water proof. They are lace up but have a zipper down the inside for easy on/off. I find them very comfortable for riding and walking around.

I wore them on rainy, commercial enforcement and training days.

I've had these
Amazon.com: Belleville TR960zWP Tactical Research Khyber Black Waterproof Boot Zipper: Shoes Amazon.com: Belleville TR960zWP Tactical Research Khyber Black Waterproof Boot Zipper: Shoes
in both waterproof and non waterproof versions, not much difference really. I've had 3 pairs of the Magnum Viper 8 inch as well but prefer the Bellevilles.

I wear Lowas and Asolos. They aren't quite that tactical, but they shift and brake well.

Need to find boots that fit and oil resistance. I've found an aggressive tread doesn't mean squat unless you're in the dirt. I use my boots/feet for everything, the inside of the bottoms wear out every couple of years. Have to duct tape them til I get to the boot store.

I would consider Belleville's an excellent boot. Very well made. I often ride with my Altama jungle boots.
