+1 on paying extra attention during this time.

I've been in Rapid City since Sunday, and have come across several accidents involving bikes already.
One was an obvious lack of attention to speed coming into a very sharp corner on Iron Mountain road.

Today, in Spearfish there was a bike accident on I-90. We were on the outer road when we went by, so don't know what happened there.

Lots of people riding some of these tight turns just are not used to them, and "drift" into the other lane or off the other side.

 

Unfortunately, I witnessed the aftermath of one of those 2 deaths in 2012. Bike drifted just slightly over yellow on a turn and a small pickup heading the other way was hugging the yellow and clipped her with his mirror.

It amazes me that I still see so many fools on bikes practically riding on the yellow. Hopefully everything goes smoothly this year.
