All truck haters out there don't even realize that without us you couldn't do much, maybe if we went on strike for 3 days you might get the hint.
What are going to do if you show up for work one day and they tell you we have no parts, material no need to ship because there are no trucks. So you were going to get gas on the way home but opps there's no gas!! Better get some groceries if them truckers are on strike. Opps no groceries.
Maybe if that would happen I think you all would change your attitude and some respect would be given out. There is nothing you have or use that does not have a truck tied in.
And as far as the lady getting sprayed, were you on a perfectly flat road? Does not take much of a grade to speed a truck or slow it down. If you wanted to get away from him you could have.

The world is full of idiots should be no surprise to anyone. Amazingly some of those bikers could have been truckers but with group mentality.
We all have to deal with people like this every day.
The ones that scared me the most when driving truck were those last minute lane changes in front of me then slamming their brakes on. You can bet there was some serious profanity spewing from my lips.

Actually they do.
Per miles driven , we are the safest drivers in the world.
I've went wayyy over 3 million miles in my career.
Granted, yes. There's a few *** hats.
And most generally they are the Arabs
Caint speak or read English, but yet these companies somehow get them hired.
It's scary.
And our idiotic government doing all it can to bring the Mexican companies up here. They Caint read or speak English either.
And whoever decided that electronic log books are for safety?
Needs to be shot.
All you do is race the clock. What's safe about that ?
Thankfully I'm getting out of it soon. Cannot wait.
The rules and regulations are getting moronic.

Oh, so I guess that makes his behaviour perfectly ok. Because, ya know, he's in that truck all day long, long boring days, and if he decides to have a little fun with a girl on a motorcycle what's the harm in that ? All truck drivers are perfect angels, they have the right to drive any way they feel, including blowing down the hiway at 90mph pulling hazmat. That's a mature decision. I get it now.
Did you even read the part about when she did speed up she could hear his rpm come up ? That's when she slowed down and quess what.......HE SLOWED DOWN TOO. You weren't there, but are convinced he is the perfect "Knight of The Hiway". Sorry bub, but some of your trucker friends are A-holes.

Good gosh almighty! !
Here i am rolling north on I29 just north of saint joe..
And a pack of bikes come up behind me...
Start passing up the hill . ( I'm pulling hazardous materials, shiny tanker)
They bunch up and start admiring themselves in the side of my tanker. D
Keep in mind I'm loaded trying to pull the hill.
I'm as far right as i can get. I turn on my hazard flashers.
They still bunched up and impeding traffic in the fast lane.
They finally get half the bunch passed..and in front of me...
We top the crest... I'm starting to gain speed...but have to hit brakes to keep from running
Over a few of them.
Cant pass because the tag group is still combing their hair in the reflection.
In the passing lane...
WTF !?!?
FINALLY! !! I HAVE ENOUGH! ! .... I just simply pulled over on shoulder slowed wayyyyy down
And let them go.. two of them slowed down with me !!!
Piles of traffic, piling up.. and these idiots are clueless. .
Then thank the Lord above the two nuts next to me realize their buddys are leaving them.
They speed up.
And lo and behold. . The rest area at the bottom of the hill...
They all pulled in...
I blew by doing 90.. scared they catch up with me again..
Please.. pass the dam trucks.. and get on down the road. Sheesh.

Some states used to have truck limits. Be glad they can keep up with traffic, no fun constantly having big rigs to get around. Then there's those cage drivers that pull up to a truck, but won't pass it; instant traffic jam if it's a slow truck. Some of us prefer 2 lane back roads; if trucks are speed restricted on multi lanes, you can bet they will be on 2 lanes, too, and that really sucks, having dozens, even hundreds, of trucks to pass in a day. Been there, done it, don't want to see it again.

I'm only going to comment on this part, St Joe being my old stomping grounds. I still go back home pretty regularly to see my mom and sister, and the only part of the ride I dread is leaving 435 and getting on 29 North. I don't know what it is about that stretch of road between KC and just beyond St. Joe, but those are the biggest bunch of ********, (2, 4, 10, and 18 wheels alike) on one out of the way stretch of road that I've ever seen.
