Good gosh almighty! !
Here i am rolling north on I29 just north of saint joe..
And a pack of bikes come up behind me...
Start passing up the hill . ( I'm pulling hazardous materials, shiny tanker)
They bunch up and start admiring themselves in the side of my tanker. D
Keep in mind I'm loaded trying to pull the hill.
I'm as far right as i can get. I turn on my hazard flashers.
They still bunched up and impeding traffic in the fast lane.
They finally get half the bunch passed..and in front of me...
We top the crest... I'm starting to gain speed...but have to hit brakes to keep from running
Over a few of them.
Cant pass because the tag group is still combing their hair in the reflection.
In the passing lane...
WTF !?!?
FINALLY! !! I HAVE ENOUGH! ! .... I just simply pulled over on shoulder slowed wayyyyy down
And let them go.. two of them slowed down with me !!!
Piles of traffic, piling up.. and these idiots are clueless. .
Then thank the Lord above the two nuts next to me realize their buddys are leaving them.
They speed up.
And lo and behold. . The rest area at the bottom of the hill...
They all pulled in...
I blew by doing 90.. scared they catch up with me again..
Please.. pass the dam trucks.. and get on down the road. Sheesh.

 

Sadly there will be some crashes involving those wallet bikers. No doubt the iPhone selfie videos were rolling while they combed their hair in the reflection.
This is why I don't group ride.

You would think seeing shredded pieces of retread lying in the road would be enough incentive to not spend much time right next to a spinning tire as tall as your handlebars.

Common sense is a thing of the past unfortunately. We've already had a couple crashes here and there is no darned reason for it except these people are excited about going to Sturgis. Hope they all make it is all I can say. No dang way I would be going this year!!!!

 

You Had Me....Right Up Until The Part Where You Blew By Doing 90 While Hauling Hazmat.......

 

That sure isn't me, I let the vehicle in front of me clear the front of the truck and then I hammer down, I never stay next to these behemoths, just too damn dangerous!

 

Ok, let me get this straight.. You are pulling hazardous materials and you blew by doing 90? hmmmmm

 

.....then there was the time me, my wife and our daughter, 4 neighbors were coming up I29 in big down pour. I'm running lead and our daughter is behind me on her Fatboy. It was raining pretty good so I'm putzing along doing about 65. Trucker pulls out to pass us, gets along side our daughter and matches her speed. His spray is driving her nuts and blinding her. She speeds up/ he speeds up. She slows down/ he slows down. He has having a lot of fun keeping her in his wheel spray. She finally turned on her flashers and slowed way down and pulled onto the apron. He matched her speed down to about 40mph and must of decided he'd had enough fun. There are A-holes on both sides of the road.
