Default Exhaust leak

Just put on a jackpot head pipe 2-1-2 and think I have a leak at front head, I can hear it but can't find it. Used cigar smoke and incense still can't see it any suggestions on how to fix it without disassembling the whole thing

I have no experience with this headpipe, but from a FM video on it's installation Jamie says there should be an audible click type sound when the header seats properly in the ports due to how the pipe is fabricated. So try that first, just loosen everything including trans mount and make sure gaskets are seated in there too.

I had an exhaust leak when I first got my night train at the front head. The pipes that were on it needed a different style of gasket. Also after I took them off I could see where it was leaking by black carbon on the chrome pipe.

If you cant find it with smoke what makes you think you got one? I did stage 1 on my flhtk and used the jack pot headers also. I thought I had a leak also. couldn't find it either. Had 2 different places listen to it and they said it sounded fine. They said it would sound like somebody tapping on a wall with a hammer if I had a leak. I retightened flange bolts after a few miles or so. I was hearing the intake suck air after installing the arlenn ness big sucker.

There isn't another way.
If yer gonna do your own wrenching, learning is part of the deal.
Get the proper gasket, (might be the flat one) and re-do the install.
It is important to follow proper torque sequence when tightening those exhaust flange bolts and don't over tighten, those things only need a 100 or so INCH pounds of torque.

hold a lit match around the port. if there is a leak it should blow the match out, or at least blow the flame around a lot

Old mechanics trick is to spray a VERY small amount of ATF into the intake.
Get an old Windex bottle, partially fill it with ATF and lightly spray into the intake with the motor running.
Just a very light mist, don't want to lock the motor up.
Might have to rev it some too.
Do it outside the garage because the ATF will smoke like crazy when it burns.
You'll think someone is mosquito fogging.
It will show you ANY leak in the exhaust.

I changed out the pipes on my 07 SG and the leak sounded like a hammer on a metal wall especially on acceleration. New gaskets fixed that problem.
