Default Exhaust bracket woes

Good afternoon guys and gals,
I have a 2007 Ultra. My bike has true duals so I have a little "L" shaped exhaust bracket for the rear head pipe. I am replacing it today for the 3rd time. I have a built engine 110whp/116wtq. Has anyone come up with a way to keep from breaking this little bracket or is it just something I'm going to have to live with... Thanks in advance.

Don

Have you tried longer bolts with rubber grommets on both sides of the mount to give it room to flex?

The OEM bracket has a stud, not a hole for a bolt. When I get this one changed, I'm going to take the old one to a Chapter Brother who is a machinist that is going to fab me another bracket with a hole and when this one breaks, I'll do exactly that.

Or just trade it in on a 15 CVO Ultra, but then I have to build that engine to run like mine.... lololol.... The joys of owning a HD.

It would help somewhat if we could see a picture of the bracket that's got your panties in a wad.

I had trouble with the heavy P clamps that held my aftermarket exhaust on. I put them in a vise (one at a time) and heated the bent part red, then clamped it tightly closed and let it cool while still clamped "closed" Never broke again. I think the heat took the stress out of the sharp bend...hope this helps...
