Back from Sturgis 2015. Picture thread.
Just got back from the 75th and thought I'd share some photos and my experiences.
We went in 2013, and did and saw a lot of the same things this time, but rode some different highways, spent more time in the Badlands, and skipped a couple things from last time.
We stayed at the Buffalo Chip the 3rd through the 8th. It rained hard the night of the 3rd, but we had already parked our bikes and were watching the Dee Snyder/Godsmack concert. We bought a lot better rain gear after the last trip, and it worked perfect because we never needed to use it.
Traffic everywhere in and around Sturgis was terrible, but it was bad when we were there for the 73rd also, and I assume its terrible every year. Getting out of the Buffalo Chip and to main street Sturgis is really slow going. If I do this again I'm going to seriously consider engine fans.
Packed up the Dyna. 2 small tents, 2 full size sleeping bags and pillows, 2 air mattresses, plenty of clothes and gear, tools, and probably more crap than I needed. Its amazing what you can fit on a supposedly non-touring bike. My wife rode her '07 Shadow 750 with her clothes and gear.

Midget bowling at the Buffalo Chip
Wife is really interested in a Scout, so she took one for a demo ride. I rode a new Chief Classic.
My clutch cables started coming apart, causing the clutch to slip. Got Barnett to make me a new cable, and Randy's Cycle Shack installed it. First time in 15 years I've had to pay somebody to fix something for me, but it was relatively painless.
