I seem to remember guys saying that they were having problems with some of the LEDs going out.

I remember those same threads, and dealer would not take back the faulty mirror.

I want those mirrors too but saw all the threads with problems with them. I'm still looking to buy them but the lowest I've seen them for is $250ish plus shipping. Just too much to roll the dice on for me.

Cool

I've had mine for a few years now. No problems.

I like them because they're up high and more noticeable. I have removed the stock turn signals.

I had them on my 2009 FXDF, and I liked them, but they weren't very bright, at least compared to what's available today.

When you say available today are you referring to an updated HD mirror or another company's mirrors?

I'd like to get them at some point. Gives you a bigger profile and cleans up the bars by removing the old.

Sorry for the ambiguity, I mean LEDs available by other companies for lighting applications generally. What I had were HD Part #92059-07A; nice, but nowhere near as bright as the amber LEDs on my Custom Dynamics turn signals...
