Default 2015 Recalls (my second one this year)

Hello HD Forums,

I just wanted to pass along some information. Just got a call from the local HD shop. They communicated that the 2015 Street Glide Special hit its second recall for this year. First was the flawed saddlebags and this one is more of a safety concern.

HD has identified and issue in which the hydraulic clutch is failing and resulting in a lunge forward when the clutch is disengaged. If you are at a stop it can throw you forward. The shop did not have the kits to provide the free fix yet, but I sure hope they get them soon. Don't want to hit someone from behind or get launched into traffic at a stop light/sign. Anyone else have additional information?

Hope this helps someone out.

Same # as the recall for the 2014's back in 2013-2014. This is not a new recall. See dates.

A more recent clutch recall - but not OP's scenario.

Also, see date, issued in April.

My dealer told me the same thing when I was having the saddlebag recall done. No parts for the fix as yet.

The recall was issued back in April, and the parts to repair have been available for some time now.

I finally had the time to take mine in, and they did both the saddle bag and clutch recalls last week.
