After having my Heritage for about a year I finally scraped my floorboards. It was just a slow speed turn going into a gas station, but I feel like much more of a man now. I think I'll go grill some meat.
Once you get over that initial shock of doing it it gets easier. I scrape the kickstand on left turns all the time on my SG, anyone know if there's a way to get that stand up higher?
I scraped doing a slow U-turn on my Glide. Didn't even think I was leaning that far over....? Now when I'm going around turns I expect to scrape when I lean but it hasn't happened again yet
The best one is when you scrape your foot on the ground mid turn, that will get your attention if you weren't expecting it. Have mini boards on the Dyna and when I turn left and try to shift my foot will scrape. I did scrape turning right and it turned out to be my V&H big shots scraping .
