You're right. I've read many things on that site. It's too bad that the vast majority of riders are living in a fantasy world where none of that applies to them.

I wish rider education, training, and wearing proper gear was the norm. It doesn't need to be regulated, riders just stop needing to worry about whether they have "mushroom " head or not.

yup, we're not invincible just because some riders put on a black HD shirt and engineer boots...

I did what #9 said. My first bike was a panhead and I didn't know how to ride it but I chopped the hell out of it, learned to ride it, took my riding test on it and passed.

Been on site before ,pretty good . Some good reviews ,keeps you up to date with motorcycle news .

Not a stripped chopped, but I did the same thing in theory. I bought the RKC that I wanted and learned to ride it. I passed the test on the first go around too. I must be crazy to start out on "one of those big, heavy, sure-to-kill-a-newbie touring bikes".
