Im switching my Soft Softail into a Hard Softail. Ive already picked up the Tour Pak and the Fairing but I still need the Hard Saddlebags and the conversion for mounting. I know ebay is there but I dont want to get junk. Anybody have any good ideas where to get good ones?

I found my bags on eBay for $750. Had to but the latches and locks (same key from the dealership).

 

Any one know anything about Calvary Fiberglass?

 

I bought genuine Harley police saddlebags on eBay..
I wanted fiberglass bags but the baggertail brackets specified..not for fiberglass..

I came really close to getting fiberglass anyway, but all things considered,
I came out really good with what I putt together..

One big thing was, I wanted them to open like new style bags.
Only police bags did so.
I couldn't find new style bags for sale.

Also I changed out the locks to match my ignition..

And changed the hockey puck to flush buttons and modified with really strong magnets
To make them suck down and shut like a car door..

 

bad dads has a kit I think. pick up a bagger magazine you will find vendors for that stuff even easy rider or google it

 

The newest bags are made from ABS plastic.

 

I meant to say from Harley they are ABS plastic.

 

And they're good enough but flimsy
