Pink bike below is piloted by Lucille Dunn. Ran 171 mph at the Bonneville Salt Flats in 2013 and is the current 1350cc modified pushrod gas record holder with a 2 way average of 167.452 mph.



Yellow bike pictured below is piloted by Bob "Bubba" Rocho who is a 60 y/o pharmacist when he is not off playing in the salt. Reached a top speed of 180+ mph last year and is the current AMA 1350cc modified, partially streamlined, pushrod, fuel record holder with a 2 way average of 175.275 mph.

That's actually my wife in those pics but she says thank you for the compliment!! She works hard for that tiney hiney (shes a fitness instructor)

That's something I've always wanted to do. See the Bonneville runs! Sometime before I die I will. Congrats to your wife!

 

Unfortunately the salt was in bad shape this year so the event was canceled. We were hoping for at least 5 mph more out of each bike but now have to wait until next year at the earliest to go for it.
