Default MoCo sacks its Made in USA bag supplier

I love my Harley-Davidson SAC luggage and SAC's customer service was great when I tore the waterproof inner liner -- they sent me a new one for free. So I was bummed to see HD no longer lists the SAC bags on its website. Then I saw this notice on SAC's website. Looks like the MoCo decided to drop Made in America SAC products for ones made overseas by a larger manufacturer. Bummer....

Holds 4000 CI and is waterproof. And is versatile...

That's disappointing, they are made locally in Buffalo NY.

WOW. Reliable supplier for over a decade and poof, it's over. Of course, there are 3 sides to every story but HD stopped giving a crap about "made in USA" a long time ago for anything but advertising.

I do find it strange that a motorcycle luggage company just started going to sturgis....

Boycott the Chinese crap! When it doesn't sell perhaps the MoCo will reconsider but my guess is people will buy it anyways.

The Harley SAC luggage was an excellent product. And still is. I've used mine border to border and coast to coast and up to the arctic circle in all kinds of weather and it is still as good as the day I got it, except it is now brown instead of the original black. Too bad the relationship with Harley is ended but the world revolves and evolves and both companies are still in business.

Walk into the dealer and 99% of the products are foreign made.

I have two of the original SAC bags that I have had for over twenty years. Screw Harley, I will buy the "real thing" when, or if, I need new ones!

BS. It's too high, but nowhere near that.
