Default Harley and the blackout fad

Is there any reason Harley continues to ride the blackout fad like there is no tomorrow?

I was considering a Dyna Wide Glide, but having to spend money to chrome over all the blackout parts it comes with as well as the black wheel is a complete dealbreaker for me. Would it really kill them to offer a chrome version and a blackout version of their bikes from the factory?

Obvious Dan here. Parts are too expensive. Instead, buy an older model in great shape. Plenty available... Black is the new chrome getting a little old.

Well Indian has there Darkhorse and Victory likes to make blackout bike too . And yes they should do the wideglide with the full chrome package . Go to there site and tell them if you don't see one for the 2016 line up.

It pays to be a chrome plater because when all these guys get sick of it they'll be stripping them down and heading to the chrome shop. Chrome and vivid black never go out of style.

They look cool, but for me, I'm an old school chrome addict.

It was cool about 10 years ago. It's not just Harley either. All the manufacturers are still riding the black train. So over it.
