Default How to tell what all has been done to the motor

I just upgraded my exhaust and breather. And the only way to get the motor to run smooth is to program it at 103 with cams. So my question is. Is there a way to tell what has been done to the motor without tearing into it?

Not a lot of info here. What is your bike and motor and what are you using to tune it?
Unless you can ask the previous owner you just might have to pull the heads.

I was thinking the same thing, the only way to know is to tear it down, or tune it and ride it hard, who cares whats inside just ride...

If it runs fine after the program, don't be concerned. If not, get a dyno. Good luck.

Even if you open it up, there's no guarantee you'll be able to just look at it and be able to tell what has been done to it.
