Have a friend that has joined a motorcycle club.he has to wear his prospect vest every time he rides and if he goes out of their Territory he has to pull over and pull it off. Now he has started wearing a pistol on his side everytime he ride.would you have a problem riding with a person that is doing this if you are not part of the club and don't wear a gun on your side?
You should do what is comfortable for you. Do you have a problem with his gun and his vest or just the vest or just the gun? If you do then don't ride with him any more. If you don't then what's the issue here?

Is he a friend or an acquaintance? If he's a friend, tell him how you feel if it makes you uncomfortable. If he's an acquaintance, then find another riding partner. Try not and get caught up in the drama. I know an OL prospect. We're friendly, but we don't swap recipes. Better this way.
If you ride with a prospect you'll be considered a prospect by others as well regardless of whether or not you have a patch on. You have to expect whatever happens to him will happen to you. Call it guilt by association.

Californians??
In all seriousness though E8 is correct. Lie with dogs you are bound to get fleas. Like others have said if you don't want to associate with clubs, then don't. I can only assume he is prospecting for a 1% club...? If not he may be going a bit overboard.
