Adios to my awesome pup who passed away on the X-ray table today when he started to have breathing problems. He had an awesome life with us these last 10 years. Bummer day but going to go on an early morning ride in his honor tomorrow!

I'm sorry to hear this robbyville . I lost my dog a while back and know what you're feeling. I imagine his sister is very sad also. Maybe a new pup can help heal you both.

 

Thanks guys. He was a fat and slow but happy dog. Trying to put on a good face for our son. His sister who was the runt of the litter definitely knows that something is wrong. I feel badly in a way that nobody got to say goodbye to him other than me since it was so sudden. He grew up in Colorado, moved to VA, and then a couple weeks ago made the trek with us to CA. Last week he got to swim in Mission Bay outside of San Diego chasing a tennis ball so at least there's that.

Ah well

sounds like he had a good life , gave and received a lot of love and had his best friend next to him when he passed .
we should all be so lucky .
