Default Just a great day for a ride

In some of my favorite country. 67 degrees when we left out and about 75 when we returned. My favorite time of year to ride.

Left home and headed south on SC200. Ran that into 34 North which took me up to 176 to Jonesville.Rode that all the way to 9 East. Stopped for lunch and back on 9 to 901N and to 121 to 21. Followed 21 back to 200 for about a mile then a hard right on 97 along the Catawba River headed to Camden. Wife was getting kinda tired and it was about time for the deer to start moving so we took a shortcut through the woods to home.

About 300 miles all together in just frigginglorious weather. Big puffy white clouds and the sky colored from deep dark blue to pale powder blue, aka Carolina blue. Bright sunshine with cloud shadows to keep the sun from getting to hot.

Bike singing like Pavarotti at his finest. Hammock seat cupping the tush like a featherbed. Infotainment blasting the tunes and keeping me on course at the same time.

Not a trouble and not a care. Worse part of the day was lunch. I can still taste the garlic.

I forgot to add...Man!! I LOVE this bike!!!!

I was going to post a thread like this today too, lol. SO beautiful here in NE PA. I headed across the Delaware river into Northern NJ. Went across Dingman bridge, which is a privately owned wooden bridge! Road around the country roads, did a trip around Culver Lake. Passed the Appalacian Trail. Back up to Milford, PA, stopped at a friend's house, then home.

The sky was blue with big white clouds, the air was cool, and there were bikers out everywhere.

Just an awesome experience today.

It was sunny/partly cloudy but only in the high 80s, so we went to one of our favorite places. A biker bar set in this little Mayberry type of town, that has the best hamburgers. The fun part is, it's 100 miles away, one way.
