Just signed up on HOG.com for a year. Any thoughts?

You probably won't be a member in a year. I didn't see the value in it.

this thread appears at least once a month, half hate HOG half like it. Thats the consensus

I get a discount on my insurance which is greater than the membership cost. So the magazine and their roadside assistance thing is a bonus. Plus if you have an AT&T cell phone, you can get an 18% discount so that would for sure pay for the membership cost.

Doesn't the Iron Order MC offer the same discounts?

Tried searching for it but the search only gave me parts of a thread not a thread started with this topic... Lol

I liked the magazine too but I'm not into group rides, so it wasn't for me.

You don't have to join any local chapter or do any group rides to get the magazine, roadside assistance and insurance discount.
