Default Little help from Ohio riders

I'm leaving out of Detroit going to Ripley WV and hate driving around Columbus, Are there any good routes from Toledo to southeast Ohio without hitting the Columbus loop. Thanks

23 South to Delaware, OH.....catch 37 East out of Delaware....Stay on it through Johnstown and then either catch 70 East to Intestate 77 South or....

Stay on 37 instead of hitting 70 to Lancaster and then catch 33 all the way to Ripley (very scenic route but will take much longer)

Thanks the 37 to 33 looks like a nice route. I'll be in no hurry and want to enjoy the sights. I like your bike, here is a pic of my 85 FLTC I've been restoring.

You should also consider Routes 250, 83 or 60 all of which are very nice rides.

77 south of Canton is very scenic and next to no traffic. Heck you could take turnpike to 77 on in to Ripley. Turnpike won't be any fun but it will get you to 77quick. I love riding 77 south of Canton and do it often. It's one of my favorite rides.

I get enough interstate riding in Detroit so the 23 to 36/37 looks like the ticket.

I would suggest you go to Mansfield via your choice, then 546 out of Lexington to Newark, then hop on 16 to 146 then take 60 from zanesville to Beverly, 339 from beverly to belpre, route 50 to I77 to ripley. Or the last leg the scenic route would be 50 west to torch then 124 down to ravenswood. Depends if you like ohio or WV better.

There are a few other decent choices from Zanesville and Newark.

60 Follows the river all the way down. 124 goes the rest of the way along the river.

Whatever way you chose, try to avoid 75 through Toledo! It's all tore up for construction all the way to Findlay. Temporary lanes and patches make it hard to find a good ridin' lane.

Thanks Evil-1 I always take 75 out of Detroit to 280 to 20 to 23 and make the bypass around Columbus and take 33 to WV but I want to avoid Columbus. It seems I always hit that place during rush hour or maybe it's always rush hour there. Just looking for an alternate route that is peaceful.
