Default Motorcycle shipping - good / bad experiencs

I'm getting ready to ship my HD bagger from SoCal to Star racing in GA for an engine transplant. I've never used a bike shipper before and was hoping someone could give me a
recommendation as to which company to go with. Actual experiences or first hand knowledge of a good and bad shippers much appreciated. Tnx in advance

+1 on this.

I just bought a bike in Illinois and the friend I was going to ride back with can't go now so I'm considering shipping.

I'd like to know who is a good shipper and what a reasonable price would be to ship from IL to WA.

Thanks

Keyboard shipped my first Harley from Georgia to Indiana.

They did a fantastic job.

I bought a bike in Florida and used uship. That's a deal where shippers bid for the job.

I wouldn't use them again because the trailer looked overloaded. The bike however, arrived in good shape.

My boss and his friends ride all over the country. They ship the bikes to say Florida or South Carolina ride all around for the bike events then ride home. They pay like 600 per bike and they garuntee its safety. They do anything to it, they fix it. They use this 3 or 4 times a year.

Default Motorcycle shipping - good / bad experiencs

Alldayautotransport.com picked up my sportster and a RK and transported them both from NC to AZ for total of 1300. I was pleased with the care that was taken and they were delivered in 7 days. I paid a deposit of 300 and the remainder when they arrived and after inspection. Good luck. Hope this is helpful.

I used Uship one time, and the results were sketchy at best.
The guy had my bike strapped down in large box truck filled with all sorts of crap.
it looked like he was moving an entire household in there!
He said it took so long because he had to rearrange the truck several times.
He did not use a chock, and the bike was strapped with the suspension bottomed out.
The worse part was when he put it out on the powerlift tailgate, the truck was parked at an angle on an incline,
and he dropped the bike when the ramp bottomed out.
He did manage to keep the bike from falling all the way over by holding it with his leg,
while yelling at me to come and "get this thing off of me" !
Needless to sat, I was NOT impressed with the service at all.
His initial bid was $1100, but at the last minute he put in a bid of $500, so I accepted it.
These Uship guys are NOT professionals at all, not one bit.
They are the low ballers with junk vehicles looking to make the most money they can.
I would never use Uship again!

Only shipped a bike once. I sold my Kawasaki ZZR1200 to a guy from PA. He made all the shipping arrangements. A truck showed up at my place in Northern IL around 8 AM and he had the bike by 5 PM his time. Worked well for me.
