Had an interesting call from the dealer. They want me to trade in my 2013 Street Glide for a new one. Just seems odd to me though. Anybody else get a call? They claim on the phone, it wouldn't cost me more. Just seems strange.

 

Define "won't cost you more".
It's normal for dealers to cold call past customers to drum up business.

 

Salespeople lie. Final price isn't up to them. It's their job to get you in the door. Once you're in, the fight is half way over.

 

Wouldnt cost more? Same monthly payments for the same duration of an exsisting loan?

 

i assume it means the monthly $ amount of your payments can stay the same of course those payments stretch on for a couple more years

I'd ask for the details in writing by email. That will put a quick stop to any BS. It's possible, although highly unlikely, that they have a buyer for your 2013 bike . . . but I seriously doubt it.

 

And for anyone who believes a salesperson when they say "nah, it won't cost you more", I have some great beachfront property for sale in Sebastian. I'll be happy to show it to you anytime during low tide.
