Cleaning garage, almost done and I walk by and notice my mag light sticking out of the lower on the right. I was looking for a little socket that fell off after checking engine mount torque and once I found it from other side of bike I guess I forgot to pick up light

Crazy thing is, its been there for a week....and I've ridden it....

I know...I'm an idiot.

 

Yeah I lost my 9/16 snap on wrench that way. Working on my old Sportster and left the wrench balanced somewhere on the engine. Took a quick test drive and ain't seen it since. I sure do miss that bugger!

 

Huh? You never had kids borrowing your tools? lmfao

 

I've lost boxes of tools that way!

 

I found a hole in my leather saddle bags that way.....noticed I was missing a bunch of tools. Thought someone stole them then I discovered the hole. DOH!!!!!

 

How in the world did it stay there?

 

If you notice its wedged in the front of the board down in the lower. Its not losing it that bothers me as much as it coming out and hurting someone. Thats the part that makes me so frustrated that I let it happen.

I left a socket on my oil filter once, and mid summer it was still there LOL. I think we have all done something like that in one form or another!

 

lol...yes, we have. When you can tell it and laff about it, says something about your character right there.

 

Holy Cow! I thought you were talking mini-mag not a 4 cell! Best place to hide something is right out in the open!
