You know you are on the right bike when
I brought my bike in for its annual service yesterday (3 years service included) and sat and waited in the service department for 2 1/2 hours for bike to be done. I never once considered looking at or test riding the new models. I've been on my current bike for 1 year and 20,000 miles. Maybe I'll trade on year 5...or 6...

I knew I wanted a Breakout the first time I saw one. I'd had my Blackline for 6 months at the time, when I was getting my Stage 1 done and saw a Breakout in the showroom. And right then, I tried dealing my bike for it...and again about 6 months later and again in 3 months. It wasn't until June of this year that I finally got one.

On the very rare chance that I set foot in the stealership....(wouldn't be for any service)..there's very little chance they'd have a bike that I'd consider...as Shovels and Evos aren't all that common on their showroom floors. No twinkies for me.
There is one particular Evo powered Softail Heritage classic up at a New Hampshire dealership (private dealership...thus not a stealership) that I'd strongly consider.

When I bought my Springer in '05 I knew what I wanted and I didn't have any other bike on my mind. The dealership had it, I bought it and after 10 1/2 years, almost 94k I don't have any regrets and nothing that has been made since that time has ever interested me like my Springer did then and still does to this day.
