Would you buy used cams
There are a couple of used cams for sale in the selling section. Would you buy used cams. What do you like for to see if they are ok?

Like buying a used spark plug, why??? Cams are not the most expensive part of an engine build up, not the place to save the cash.
Now if there was a used carb that I felt comfortable rebuilding, that is a different conversation.
Cam = No

Personally, I don't buy anything used. And I would never buy a used cam.

I personally wont skimp on internal parts. Some stuff I have no problem buying used, but that is one place I will not. Not even from people I know and know how the bike was ridden...just not worth it to me...but...each to their own...

Thanks for all the replies. Mucho appreciated! I was kind of in the "I would NOT buy used cams" camp already, but wanted to know what the hive thought. Not buying used cams.

Flops. They could have defects not detectable until you install them and fire up the engine. Save money somewhere else.
