Default How to clean windshield film

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to clean this off a road king windshield, and if so what's the best way.
Thanks in advance.

Is it a film that was applied by someone, a film that came from the factory, or a film from years of usage ?

Film from years of use I think. My brother just picked up an 03 road king. Great bike but the windshield is a bit knarley.

Looks like the wrong products were used cleaning the windshield. I'd be searching the web for aircraft windscreen polishing agents or kits. I used Micro-Mesh kits on aircraft canopies, a lot of work involved.

Better to get a new one. It'll take hours and hours and hours of work not to mention the mess to try to polish it out and then the results may be pretty sketchy at the least when you think that you're done.

Denatured alchohol, nothing stronger. Gently, and let the chemical do the work. A nice tequila should work also, but I have not tried it first hand.

Then polish it with a Novus kit.
