Models to be discontinued* for the 2008 model year include:

I love my Wide Glide and am thankful I got it before they disconinued it but parts weren't plentiful before, now they will be harder to come by.

The same thing (discontinued models) was recently stated by the Sales Manager at Dennys HD in Springfield, MO.

Hate to see the FXDWG go after a run of almost 30 years, and it's all the more reason why I will hold on to mine.
Really surprised to see both the Softail Standard and Deuce leaving the lineup.....

With 3 softtails leaving (and the only springer gone), it seems to point to some kinda custom/springer showing up. Probably do not need an RKC, or an 883R.
I still want the SpringBob to show up.

It makes me wonder if the guy that wrote the news letter knows what he is talking about. He states "For the first time in nearly thirty years, the FXDWG Dyna Wide Glide will not make it to the showroom floor." The Wide Glide was discontiuedfrom 1987 through 1993. I'm sure a few models are going to be discontinued, a lot of the bikes didn't sell very well. I'm sure they will have a few new models as well...........Maybe a SE FXDWG?

It's all speculation right now. No one is going to tip their hand this early? They are just trying to get public opinion stirred up. It's like the azz clowns that sat there and talked about the NFL draft for months leading up to it. NO one knows for sure until they have their big show in July or August. Just my .02
