Default Shorai Battery

Anyone using the Shorai battery? Search isn't working, so I can't use it.

Two tears ago or so we sold a bunch of them to Triumph guys here in the city. Within 6 months they all got warrantied and we quit selling them. They were garbage then. Not sure if anything has changed.

Have one in my dirt bike good battery saves like 4lb. Don't see much reason to have it in my Harley.

Some had problems with it starting. but many didn't realize that you need to turn and wait like 30 secs for the battery to warm up before starting. Those that just turn the ignition on and start it without cycling the system cause it to have starting problems

I just looked at those antigravity batteries. Holy cow. 359.00! Kinda pricy for me.

I have Shorei in two of my bikes (not the Harley), and no problems. Both batteries are going on two years old.

Went out to Battery Mart and picked up a Big Crank(Deka). Couldn't see the high price nor the cycling bs. Just want to turn the key, hit the start button and go. I still can't believe that they want over $300 for this thing. Thanks for all your responses.

I have an 06 Softail standard with the Dynojet Power Comander, o2 sensor kit, and the turn signal conversion harness. You had to use a pound of lube and a shoe horn to get the seat on so when the original battery puked I bought the Antigravity lithium iron battery. Yes it was expensive but it is half the size and spins the starter better than the lead battery ever did. Would buy another in a heartbeat.
