How often do you find yourself needing it?

If every day, then it would make a very good investment.

If once every never, then why have one other than bragging rights?

I have one,, and I have long ball end sockets. the long ball end works good on the upper bolts and the special wrench seems to work good on the lower ones. I use them a lot, I am also a tool freak, realizing that tools make me money. You will have to decide for yourself if it will pay for itself.

The right tool can keep a 15 minute job from turning into a half day and a lot of cussing ordeal, they are cheap buy one.

It's worth it. You will wonder how you ever removed the two bolts on the left side without it.

And I agree with Charlie, long ball allens for the right side bolts that actually get removed.

I "sacrificed" a hex/allen head wrench but simply cutting it and making it a "short reach" tool.

I've used it several times and it does make the job of changing intake seals much easier.

The cut allen works but the ratchet action is what makes the SE wrench worth the trouble.

I did this too, but that's because I didn't know there was a special tool for this job.
