Default How Do I Turn Off This Alarm When Trailering???

2010 CVO that is in my enclosed trailer. How do you disarm the alarm. I could just leave the key in it i guess, would be nice for the guy that steals it. Or unhook the battery.

Has to be another way???? Thanks in Advance...

If you look in the back of your owner's manual, there is detachable card with the instruction on how to put the bike in transport mode. I keep mine in my wallet in case I forget the steps. I think it also might have the steps to start the bike if your fob stops working. But you'll need to know your security code for that.

I also copied these steps to a note with the code and keep it on my iPhone.

Thanks guys, I've been wondering this myself. Had to get towed early this Summer and the damn alarm kept going off for the full 1 tow back to my house.

It's absolutely amazing what's in the Owners manual and the Service manual!

tow it too far and by the time you get there, your battery will be dead.

Seems most just don't have time to read them.

And then some even use the excuse "My bike didn't come with the manual".

Hey, I actually bought a bike that didn't come with one once! Of course, they made it right the next day. LOL!
