Default Defect that doesn't get fixed

On my 2007 dyna and 2011 heritage and ever bike I see has the same problem. The break reservoir gasket leaks and eats the paint. I called Harley and all they said is sorry its not in warranty. I tried to ask why has the problem not been fixed and they just really didn't care. lets see how many people have the same problem.

No problem on mine or my wife's.
Are you servicing your brakes correctly?

It's a common thing, since it's very easy to overtighten the cover, which distorts the seal. Doesn't take much pressure to snug it down. Not saying that's what happened to you but it's not unusual.

No problem here on either of mine. As stated above be sure NOT to tighten the cap down too much.

Mine uses DOT 5 fluid, which is silicone based, and will not harm paint. Gotta love it.

My 09 Heritage and my BIL's 08 Ultra both look like that. I have cleaned and repainted mine 2 times and it still looks like that.

If that's the worse problem that you have, you should just fold your arms in peaceful contentment that all is well with the world.
