Default Finally Opened Up The Deluxe

Had the 254E cam installed a few months back. First off let me say I like the torque the 254E offers. I was finally able to open it up, yesterday. 110 plus and smooth riding before backing off, it had more but traffic started getting a lil congested. Good thing I exited the interstate when I did, sitting at the light I notice the state trooper on his Harley coming up behind me. I guess he was fixing to pace me, dang glad I didn't get hit with radar > eek
Anyways, satisfied with that cam.

I imagine that 110 is an absolute beast with a ton of torque. Have you had it on a dyno yet?

I did observe a trooper on a bike on Saturday PM in the rest area on 75 NB just south of SCC/Ruskin. Seeing as how I had the 103 opened up a bit in the neighborhood of +25 on a wide open interstate, I am glad I saw him before he saw me. Sometimes it's good to be (on)the King. That speed without a windshield though and a half helmet? Not again, curiosity satisfied.

Have to agree with your opinion. Been running the same cams for almost two years and still happy with them. Good power from down low to upper mid rpm and decent mpg. Hard to resist yanking the throttle! Ride safe.

Stock cam on left, 254E on right:

It's the '14 model with a 103B. Yes, law enforcement was out in full yesterday, I had no idea it was a holiday until I stopped in for a cold one.

Appears to be only you and I runnin that cam in here, brother. I do admit off the line I do like opening the throttle up although those V&H staggered big shots give it a nice rumble at low RPM too.
