lmbo...figures, ordered the Daytona skull cap yesterday morning and that evenin I read the Akoury is on sale.

 

Would love to see a pic of this on someone. Tough to buy a helmet online with Fit and everything. I think I'd much rather be able to try it on the Dome before buying.

One thing to keep in mind is that this has a ratchet style strap. I like the strap - it's very quick and easy, but one aspect that I did not consider before I bought my Akoury is that you cannot tighten the strap as you are riding. The helmet does not lift on my head until I hit about 70 mph and when that happens I cannot tighten the strap to make the fit more snug.

But overall it is a very good helmet. It is very lightweight and does not give you mushroom head.

 

Thats kinda odd, I have a ratchet style on my helmet now and I can ratchet it up or down as needed, whether the helmet is on or off

 

I just tried to order one, but my size wasn't in stock & neither were the rest of the sizes. No contact phone # either. Maybe I was doing something wrong, but doubt it. No wonder the were on sale. Nothing to order. Small, 88 gloss blk. w/peak

I bought this one almost three years ago when they first came out. Low profile, light and DOT. Can't beat if for the original price oc $99 and certainly not for the new price.
