Default Thunder Beach!

Thunder Beach in Panama City Beach starts tomorrow! Weather is darn near perfect! Come say "Hi"! Harley has awarded us as an official "Pin Stop"! I'll be working that tent, so say howdy if you stop by.

I'll be just to the east of you, over in Tallahassee. I'm betting I see lots of riders rolling up the coast Friday

This year I've went to both Daytona Bike Week and Biketoberfest and both times I camped at a campground off US1 in Ormond Beach where you can do as little as pitch a tent to as much as bring an RV since they have hook ups, plus you can grill out, and have a campfire at night. I've never been to Thunder Beach in PCB yet, but would like to go to the one in spring 2016, does anyone know of any campgrounds I could camp out at in or near PCB like I did while in Daytona. I prefer to camp VS a motel/hotel as long as the campground has showers and a few other amenities as I travel on a budget.

I believe it's called Racoon Creek campground. Great place to camp. Tents and RV's w/hook ups.

Racoon River is the name. Right in the middle of town. We tent camped there a few years ago for one of the rallies. In town, but still lots of trees for shade and nice grassy areas. A lot of bikes rolling in and out all hours of the night and at the crack of dawn. Made it hard to sleep late after drinking all night. We also camped at Grayton Beach state park one year. Further out of town to the west, but an awesome place to stay. You can also check St. Andrew's state park, which is on the east end of PCB. Much closer to town but I think it fills up quickly.
