Default Having a dew problem

Hello everyone, I'm looking for a bit of advice. I occasionally ride my sportster to work but I work 7pm-6am. When I come out of my work in the morning, my bike is covered in dew and pretty much soaking wet. Its not a huge deal but with it getting colder it has become more of an issue.

Anyway I was wondering what you guys would recommend? Should I just deal with it and stop whining or is there a secret? Should I just take a motorcycle cover to work with me? Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!

You answered your own question. Take a breathable bike cover to work and carry it home in a saddle bag if you have them, or a backpack. When you get home air it out to dry for the next use. Another option, wipe off the seat and ride home.

Wipe off the seat and ride it home....A little dew isn't going to hurt it.

Yeah I've tried wiping off the seat but no matter what I do, I end up soaking wet and that really sucks when it gets cold. Maybe I'll try some of those waterproof riding pants. Guess it'll also keep me somewhat warmer. Thanks for the suggestions so far even though like you said, I pretty much answered my own question.

I bought one of their rain seat covers. Compact and does the job.

One of those heavy duty trash bags works for me when I take weekend trips. Just be sure to tuck it in so it doesn't blow away and if it does it's cheap to replace.

Go for a nice long ride in the rain, park your bike overnight out in the rain and then you wont care about a little dew anymore.

Well I've taken many rides in the rain, just don't like sitting on a wet bike every day lol. Maybe I'll just get used to it after a while. I like the trash bag idea but what do I do with the trash bag while riding? Towel makes sense but I'm trying to prevent the seat from getting wet in the first place. It would just suck walking about 100 yards back into my work to throw them away... maybe I'll see if I can get them to put a trash can closer by.

Seriously?

Wad the damned thing up and shove it in the pocket of your jacket!
