On Bike Camera
Hey all I was looking for something to take pics from the bike while riding but don't really need it to shoot video. I ride solo so I don't have a passenger to snap them for me. I've seen a remote control I believe for a Go Pro to take still photos, but I'm wondering if there is other options out there?

Maybe if you could find the right sort of mount for your cellphone. I am a big fan of device consolidation.
Not only will the phone do pictures and video, you can download Garmin USA and use it as GPS, and since the maps are stored locally, it will still work even when you do not have cell phone signal.
Add a mophie battery case and you are golden.

So how cool would that be?!
There is a drone that will follow you. You need to carry something like a GPS tracker or something like that and the drone will follow you and video you.
I can't remmber the brand or anything but it looked pretty cool. Not sure if it could keep up with a bike but the application they showed was hiking, running or some other "low speed" activity.

Got a good laugh out of that picture. That is Michael Lichter, photographer of Easyrider fame. Known him since 2002 and I have seen him do worse than that to take a picture while riding a bike on far more interesting roads. That is an old picture, though he still rides that RK to Sturgis every year.
Google him and check his website, tons of great images.
