Question Do you use riding rain gear or do you just get soaked while riding in the rain?

If you use rain gear, what brand?
Did you get what you paid for?
Which brand of rain gear would you recommend?

I have Harley High-Vis.

Good stuff, really keeps the rain out.

But most of the time I just get soaked and don't care about putting it on.

Hot weather, short shower, get wet. Cool weather, rain all day, put on the rain suit. I have a HD rain suit, several years old, still keeps me mostly dry.

I have the frog togs and they ripped the first time that I used them. Found the HD rain suit at a very good price and they are very good .

Both. Forget to take the rain gear a lot.

I use rain gear, and still usually get soaked! In the Texas pandhandle last year I even wore two sets (cheap Colemans under Frog Togs) through a downpour- and still got misserably wet. Guess I need to either start finding a sheltered port in the storm, or cut loose of the cash on an expensive Harley outfit.

I have the Harley Hi Vis and a thinner HD suit for light rain (or so they said). The truth is the light weight suit works pretty damn good in a torrential downpour, and it's about the size of a 6inch plate when folded up, so I use that unless I'm going on a real long road trip.
