Default Whoops!

What your wife looks like about two minutes after briefing her on what to do if you drop her on the rainy, muddy, and off camber parking lot at the hot springs destination! Slow speed slide then high side. She was like a turtle, pulled all her limbs in and landed on her shell. RK suffered a few scratches from all the mud, but nothing I can't buff out.

Found out after we parked that the area of the lot we fell in suffered a flood from a water tank burst and the dirt was like liquid. great!

Wet dirt roads suck. At least mud is a little soft.

The back wheel of my RG Ultra rolled back off the pavement into wet, spongy sod. The wheel just spun, the wife figured real quick she was the pusher, the front of her was full of quality Ohio mud, twenty minutes she made a grand entrance into a fast food joint in Liverpool, OH. I just reminded her "it's the journey, not the destination".

I'm grinning about it because she's ok, but I still feel pretty crappy about it. If I'd been on the back, I'd still be calling her names for dropping me. That being said, she did warn me as I pulled up to a stop at a gas pump that ended in a little wiggle as I put my foot down. She said, "You won't survive dropping me again!" I heard no giggle, laugh or comedic timing in her voice. It was succinct and very matter of fact.

These incidents can be game changers, some women won't get back on after a fall, hope that your wife is not one of the those types.

Buddy of mine is selling his 09 CVO, his wife has refused to ever board the thing again. In some ways it's a blessing, he is now looking for a smaller more maneuverable one up scooter.

Wife and I had a similar incident a couple years ago. Glad you are both OK.

Good to hear it wasn't worse - either injuries or the SO saying "no more".

Looks like a patch for the Mudtrackers MC.
No need to claim territory. I mean...it's right there.
